Hello Everyone!

Anna here, as the community has grown so much recently I thought we could take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. I will go first Slight smile

I am Anna Egner,

I am from Belfast in Northern Ireland.

I have dyslexia and a diagnosis of depression. Although I consider myself a bit of a technophobe I use various assistive technologies, that help me daily.

Other facts - I love travelling and engaging with people from all over the world, therefore having a job that helps people both locally and internationally is a dream come true!

Ok, your turn!

  • Hi, I'm Pam and I'm in the UK.

    I have a 17 year old who is ASD,(Asperger's if we're going"old school"!)

Looking at Uni and how to make it work!

Had little support except that which I've had to fight/source myself.

    Also has major anxiety.

Found the student support portal via the really useful DSA webinar.

    That's us Blush

  • Hi there,

I am Ruth and I am a teacher in a SLD school in Northern Ireland.

Our school has approx. 200 pupils with a wide range of diagnosis.

Throughout this year I been fortunate enough to pilot some ICT equipment with Contour and Philips.  I am looking forward to trialling Boop in the new school year.

When not in school I enjoy the outdoors and technology!
